Application form
Geosciences
Honours College
The application deadline for starting the honours programme in February 2025 is January 16, 2025.
Admission to the Geosciences Honours College is subject to a selection procedure, which consists of filling in the form below, setting down your motives in writing and uploading your CV, secondary school diploma and transcript of records. The Geosciences Honours College admissions committee will decide on the basis of this information whether or not you are to be admitted. You should therefore complete the form below as carefully as possible, as it counts significantly towards the decision.
You are asked to upload a scan of your transcript of your previous education (secondary school and, if applicable, results obtained at UU). You should also add your CV. This should include any jobs you have had, as well as any extracurricular activities such as student council membership, committees, voluntary work, or homework supervision. Previous or second study programmes should also be listed on your CV. This is to give us a good picture of your development outside your school work. As the Honours programme is meant to be challenging, we would like you to include an example of a challenge that you would like to take on in your motivation letter. This challenge can be personal or related to your studies or elements of the Honours programme.
