Changemakers Jos Kloppenborg
After years of legal and political battles, the Netherlands' highest administrative court recently annulled a plan to widen the ring roads near Utrecht. The campaign to save Amelisweerd has been a historic struggle that first began between 1971 and 1982 against the highway’s original construction.
Join our latest Changemakers session to hear from Jos Kloppenborg, who has been active in defending Amelisweerd since 1976 as bestuurslid of Vrienden van Amelisweerd, voorzitter of Kerngroep Ring Utrecht, and chair of Milieucentrum Utrecht (since 2018).
